The 64-year-old President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, worked as a photographer at the Hungarian Grand Prix at the Hungaroring circuit near the capital, Budapest. This is reported by Motorsport.
Petr Pavel visited one of the stages of the Formula 1 World Championship on Saturday, July 26. He arrived with professional photographic equipment and accreditation from the International Automobile Federation (FIA). The President worked alongside Czech photographer Jiří Křenek.
Motorsport photography is a long-standing hobby of Petr Pavel. In June, he traveled to France to photograph the “24 Hours of Le Mans” race. Previously, the President of the Czech Republic has also worked as a photographer at stages of MotoGP, World Superbike, NASCAR, and the Dakar Rally. Some of his photographs from “Dakar-2025” were exhibited at the National Technical Museum in Prague. Last year, the President of the Czech Republic also raised 30,000 euros for charity by selling his photo album at auction.
